- Leave the dressing on for at least 2 hours. Dressing may be left on overnight. This is advisable with larger tattoos and tattoos with a large amount of solid colour.
- Remove dressing and wash tattoo GENTLY with warm water and soap. Antibacterial soaps such as Carex are highly recommended. Avoid soaps with any cosmetic ingredients.
- Apply sparingly a small amount of BEPANTHEN available from most chemists or from us. Apply 2-4 times a day gently to your tattoo.
- Wash your tattoo carefully before applying cream
- A fine layer of dry skin/scabbing should form in the first day or so and last between a few days to a couple of weeks.
- Take care, not to dislodge any of this skin/scab as this may pull some ink out of tattoo. DO NOT pick or scratch your tattoo. Take great care not to knock your tattoo or wear clothing that will rub or chafe it.
- DO NOT cover your tattoo with substances that seals it from the air such as Vaseline or Baby Oil.
- NO soaking tattoo in water (such as the bath) or swimming for at least 2 weeks. Showers are fine provided care is taken.
- DO NOT expose tattoo to the sun or sun bed for at least 4 weeks and always use Sun block if engaging in either of these activities.
- NO Alcohol for 24 hours after being tattooed
- Try to avoid excess perspiration through your tattoo for at least 24 hours
Please remember that your tattoo is a superficial wound in your skin (like a graze) and should be treated as such.

We do understand that during the healing process some pigment may be lost. We will replace this lost pigment FREE OF CHARGE. Please return to the studio once your tattoo has been healed for 4 weeks and well will check it for you.
