Frequently asked questions about body piercing

All piercings except for one were done at Tribal Body Art, the tongue ring we added because we like it.

Some of these body modifications could not be achieved in one session; rather they are long-term projects. Stretched piercings take time to achieve; the theory is to stretch piercings about 2mm at a time. This is to avoid tearing the skin and causing unnecessary scarring.

Multiple piercings like the Compass and multiple genital piercings should only be performed two at a time, this is due to their close proximity to each other.

Skin piercings can take longer to heal and are more prone to rejection. However when healed, they are dramatic individual statements.
